Royal Crown of Autumn Glory

What a glorious morning!

The golden sunlight

shining down

illuminating

the multicolored leaves

atop the trees.

They glow

like a

jewel speckled crown.

Surrounded by

an ocean

of blue.

A crisp breeze

glides
through the trees,

rustling them.

Causing them to

twinkle and sparkle

even more!

How royal I feel

with such a
beautiful crown

over me!

Brings Me Back

The sounds outside
they bring me back.
Those long ago memories
I do not lack.


Jumping in the mountains
of leaves piled high.
Playing in the sun
as the cars drove by.






The distinct hum of the blowers
pushing around leaves.
They dance around the air
like jewels that have fallen from the trees.






The colors spectacular-
the reds, oranges, yellows and browns.
They fall like a shower
and sprinkle the town.



I will always hold
these memories tight.
And remember everytime
I hear these sounds
and see these sights!

Leaves Of Color

I look outside my window
and I see a golden sight.

The leaves have turned this color

are airborn and in flight.

Some oranges and reds

a flutter these I see.

They wave and dance around,

are loosed and then set free.

The sights they are spectacular.

It's a beautiful picture to me.

This is a favorite time of year.

These colors all bring me glee.

Yet Another One!!

Ok, so after being inspired by another fellow blogger, I decided to add yet another blog to my collection. Like I don't have enough to keep up with, right?
But I love to write poetry, so I thought I'd create a place for it.
It is surely sappy and doesn't nearly hold up to what my inspirational blogger buddy's does, but it is something I like to do and now maybe I'll do it more often.
Creativity is always a good thing, right?
